Welcome to 1st Steps Nursery

1st steps Pedagogy is the representation of how our staff teach the children who attend our setting.

This is taught through play-initiated activities using our curriculum and the child’s interests.

We use our pedagogy to plan activities to give the children exciting, intriguing experiences that they will be inspired to investigate and explore. This is done at the nursery setting and the natural world around us.

We use opportunities and cultural experiences to learn about cultural capital and build positive social relationships and friendships.

Building positive parental partnerships with our parents is essential to promote, develop and role model social skills to enhance the wellbeing of all of our children.
